If you have crooked or wonky teeth then it is more than likely that you are unhappy with the appearance of your smile, not only that but you will also be more prone to tooth decay and gum disease. Crooked teeth can affect the appearance of your mouth and they can also affect your oral health. Thanks to significant advances in dental technology in the last few decades, it is easier than ever before to correct the misalignment issues of your teeth and achieve a beautiful, straight smile. If you are unhappy with your teeth you need to speak to us at UK Dental Specialists and find out about the different treatment options that are available for you.

We offer a range of different treatments and procedures to meet your dental requirements and suit your personal preferences. We know that each smile is unique and we can create an individually tailored treatment plan for you. We will carry out a thorough examination of your teeth and gums to identify the factors that are affecting the appearance of your teeth. We will also find out whether or not you have any signs of decay or disease and if so you will need to undergo restorative dental treatment before any form of teeth straightening. Teeth straightening needs to be done with careful supervision and monitoring, otherwise it can affect your oral health. Speak to us at the practice to find out more.

Invisalign

We are pleased to be able to offer you Invisalign St. Albans for teeth straightening. Invisalign St. Albans is a modern and highly successful method of teeth straightening. Invisalign St.  Albans is popular across the world. Over the last two decades Invisalign has been put to work across the world to treat the smiles of millions of patients. By speaking to us you can find out if Invisalign is suitable for you. We will carry out a specialised three-dimensional scan that will create a digital simulation of your teeth. This is Invisalign’s own software and helps put together a treatment plan to move the position of your teeth into a neater formation. The software will show the positions that your teeth will move into following successful treatment. It will also tell us how long this treatment will take and how the treatment works.

How does it work?

Invisalign uses a series of clear thermoplastic aligners which push your teeth into their preferred positions. The aligners move the teeth by approximately 2.5 mm over the course of two weeks, after which that aligner will no longer work and you move onto the next aligner in the series. These aligners need to be worn for approximately 22 hours of the day. They are comfortable to wear and highly convenient as they can be taken out as necessary. They are designed to be removed at meal times and you can clean them by soaking them in the cleaning solution whilst you eat. They allow you to maintain your dental hygiene routine and most importantly they are almost invisible when worn in the mouth. For convenient, discreet and comfortable teeth straightening, Invisalign is the perfect solution for you.
