Raj graduated from the specialist training programme with Distinction at Kings College Dental Hospital. During his training, he submitted a Masters thesis on the use of 3D radiography in endodontics which was published in the International Endodontic Journal. He has remained a member of the faculty as a clinical teacher and examiner to postgraduate dentists on the Endodontic Programme.

Raj has limited his practice solely to root canal treatments since 2010. He accepts referral for advanced root canal treatments throughout the London area. All treatments are carried out utilizing the latest technology including a dental microscope and 3D radiography where necessary.
