Rajiv is a General Dental Council registered specialist in Periodontics. He graduated from the University of Bristol. Following periods working as a Senior House Officer in Dental Public Health, Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry, he gained the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Soon after this, he embarked upon four years of specialist training in the field of Periodontics at Guy’s Hospital which includes extensive training and experience within the field of dental implantology. As part of his specialist training, he also completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Periodontics at King’s College London whilst also attaining the Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. This training enables him to offer a range of treatments to manage periodontal diseases, with an understanding of the complex restorative problems such patients may have.
Rajiv has previously taught at post graduate level at the Eastman CPD centre (UCL) and Plymouth University. He has lectured nationally on topics relating to implant dentistry and continues to be involved with education as a Faculty Member for the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry; study club director for the ITI (International Team for Implantology) and as an examiner for the Diploma in Implant Dentistry for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
